“GREAT VIDEO”

I have been enjoying my copy of "Secrets of the Game's Longest Hitter" for some time now.  I've learned something each time I've watched it and today I might have found a key I have been missing for the last 20 years.  The 1960 footage talked about using the heel of the left hand and fore finger of the right hand to start cocking the wrists as the club passes the right foot.  It's too dark to try this on the range today but I'm excited to key on that my next trip to the range.  Thank you for the great video.

“ASTOUNDING”

I purchased Mike Austin's  tape this week.  I am 67 years old and an ex PGA club professional.  All my golfing life I have been a left sided golfer.  I have always played and taught that the left side was the master side in the golf swing.  In the past 2 years I have been losing distance and accuracy in my golf. All the standard methods associated with the pulling left side swing have not provided any relief from my poor play and was considering giving golf up.  I bought Mike Austin's video and on reading the EBook and applying the principles of weight shift and swing in the video and book in the den and back yard my next round of golf was astounding.  I played the back side first and shot 6  over and on playing the front side I shot even par.  I have never had a more comfortable and easy swinging round.  My distance and accuracy are back.  I've been struggling to break 90. The more I played the easier the swing became.  The weight shift pivot is remarkable. I can release the right side without having to guard against a hook or slice.  What freedom.

“ABSOLUTE BEST BY FAR”

You have the honor of the only congratulatory email I've ever sent to a golf products company. I've studied golf assiduously for over 30 years and have a library of golf books and videos and must have every book written on golf (although I've thrown out all the videos) and I can say with complete sincerity that your video is the ABSOLUTE BEST BY FAR.

It is nothing short of FANTASTIC. The composition of the tape where you alternate the shots of you both hitting balls with the instruction part is just perfect. I've watched it over 40 times so far and it's so well done I never get tired of watching it. GREAT JOB. You've done a fantastic job explaining the swing to someone who was giving up hope that it could ever be really understood. I wish I could shake both your hands because you have given me the knowledge that I will now be able to pass on to my 1 year old son as soon as he can swing a club.

I've been club champion a few times at different clubs but can honestly say I never understood the swing until now (nor have I ever properly executed it). Thank you from the bottom of my heart - first for Mike Austin having the genius to figure it all out and secondly for Mike Dunaway to be such an effective communicator to teach it so well. Watching you two hit a ball is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in golf. I've studied all the swings for three decades (I'm 57) and  never seen a more compact, smooth, and powerful swing anywhere. It's a thing of great beauty.

I got so excited that I told my friend Vince Piazza (baseball player Mike Piazza's father) and gave him a tape and now have him all excited about it also. A few weeks after I started working with Vince Piazza to teach him your swing he had a hole in one at his course (Bellewood) in Pottstown, Pa on a 212 yard par three. It actually is his course. My partner Tom Drauschak and I designed and built it for him. By the way his son is about to break the record and become the greatest hitting catcher of all time. Vince and Mike own the course with another friend.

We were wondering which state you teach from?  We're making progress on the swing but have a few questions. Many of the things you teach are so opposite to what we've been doing for so long that it's taking time to overcome the bad habits we've had. We are both committed to taking however long it takes to change our swings to your principals and are really excited about golf again. Every year Vince places second (as an amateur) in the Honda Classic and is now hoping that learning your swing will help him finally place first.

I recently ordered your video and made the mistake of loaning it to other golfers.  My problem is that I can’t convince them that
I own the video.  My solution to the problem was to order your DVD.  The local pro at one of our clubs has incorporated your system with his pupils and has amazing results.  One of his clients broke 80 for the first time ever (shooting 77). I’m more excited about my game and have had better results than even imaginable.

"FAR AND AWAY THE BEST"

This is far and away the best instructional video on the full golf swing I have ever seen.  I watch it at least once a month, and more often than that if my game goes a little south.  It never fails to put me back on track, and at age 59, I consistently out drive my much younger competitors.  I am a real believer in Mike's methodology.

I have many swing aids and tapes with the goal of accomplishing the swing. I must say that your tape is the best I have seen. All of the mystery of a good swing has been eliminated and the basic information is provided. The relaxed method of presentation goes a long way toward making me feel that I can learn the principals of the swing techniques you present. Just wanted to tell you I was very skeptical when ordering your golf video, and even asked you for a 90 day return period (versus your standard 30 days), as golf season doesn't really start for another month or two up here. I have purchased countless other videos that made all kinds of promises, and not one of them can compare to the simple, straightforward and effective technique expounded by Mike Austin.

We actually got a warm winter day last week and I was able to hit a course that was open for play. I was not expecting any startling results from watching this video, but man was I surprised!! For the first time in my life, I was able to really drive the ball off the tee with power and control. I have never reached this particular courses 200 yard Par 3 on one shot before. Last week I did it and actually drove the ball about 10 yards past the green!!

It was the same way the whole round--I now have to relearn my distances with each club, as I am hitting each one a good 15 yards further than I ever have before. I even had to buy a Lob Wedge, as my Sand Wedge is now too long on some short approaches!!

Thank you so much for the terrific instruction. It has certainly made a huge difference in my confidence and ability to drive the ball with authority.
